Biography

Young L born Lloyd Omadhebo is an artist, producer and DJ from Berkeley, California. He’s known for being apart of the Bay Area Rap Group The Pack (Lil B, Lil Uno, Stunnaman) and founder of Pink Dolphin Clothing. He currently is producing for artist in the industry, working on a solo album and doing Dj gigs.

Circa 2006 Young L produced and made the hook for The Pack song “Vans” that lead to Bay Area Legend Too $hort signing them to his record Label Up All Nite Liscensed through Zomba Rceordings/Sony. It went on to sell over 350,000 records. L produced their debut EP Skates 2 Scrapers and a majority of their Major Label debut Based Boys in 2007.

In 2008 Young L started his clothing line Pink Dolphin with friend/graphic designer Cena Barhagi. While touring with The Pack Young L made sure to spread the Pink Dolphin brand. The company has now two flag ships stores, one in LA and one in San Fransisco. It’s also carried in urban clothing and skateboard retail stores across the world.

In 2007 Young L began his solo career while still being part of the rap group. Since then he’s released 15 projects including a EPs, Albums, Instrumental tapes, and mixtapes. He’s been featured on media outlets Complex, MTV, Pitchfork, XXL, Pigeons & Planes and many more. He’s also produced for Mac Miller, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Soulja Boy, The Jacka and many more.

In 2010 released their Wolfpack Party album with SMC recordings that debuted at #7 on the charts. L produced a majority of that album as well. 

In 2011 Young L signed to Los Angeles based boutique record label Indie-Pop where he released his highly toted project As I Float that lead to him being on the cover of The Fader and making appearance their annual Fader Fort showcase at SXSW music festival.

With over 13 years in the music industry Young L has set trends in music and fashion.
